1991
It was a Grand Year! I didn't fall down a single time through the year! We traveled! My Gosh! We did travel! The trip out through the Southeast and up the coast and across country and up to the top of the midwest still makes me exhausted just to think about it! Probably the most memorable incident on the entire trip was the day that we pulled off of the highway at St. Cloud Minnesota and turned into a service station for gasolene. Erin said, "Harry, there goes a little van just like ours!", and it was!

We saw so many of our friends for the first time in their homes. The Whites in Waterloo, the Nelsons in Charles City, the Wheelers in West Battle Lake and the Perkins in Pipestone. It was truly a remarkable year.

Julius and Mary Ann Hankins came by for a brief visit in Leisure World. We visited the Waggoners down in Yuma. We had a great trip to Mexico at Halloween! "Queen Morvano!" (aka Erin) and "The Devil" (aka me!) took first place in the costume contest.

The year was full of memories that have lived on and are constantly being recalled. I hope there are some who will enjoy reliving the great fun that we had. If you wish to write a note to me just click here or write to W-O-gM@Wettig.org. Thanks for visiting!
