1981
This was a good year! Erin and I had been retired for a full year and considered ourselves to be pretty expert at getting the most out of a round of golf or from a few miles driving down the road. We made a bunch of new friends, visited a lot of old friends, saw many of the kids that were destined to take over as "the family' within a few years and we enjoyed! John and Sara were married under the Salt River Cliffs. We established our headquarters in Arizona, and we also made a long anticipated tour of the Northeast during the'Leaf Season'!
It was also a year that had its share of sadness. My younger sister,Elizabeth, succumbed to a long fight with cancer. She has been missed but her family and those who knew her have never forgotten her.
